    soooo bummed my little juvie Aussie tusk, that I searched forever for has passed. I found him lying on the sandbed a few days ago. It was sudden, no explanation I could think of. It was eating great, daily, noone harrased it, all other fish are fine. It was active, great colors always, seemed happy & healthy.

    One of my Cardinals is getting over a case of lymphocitis but the Tusk showed absolutely no signs of any external disease or distress. I have read up a little and I had seen that it's possible for the fish to have the disease but not show external signs, not sure if this was what happened. However, none of my other fish are showing any signs of it and the Cardinal has had it for a month+. It is one of those "must run its course" diseases that most normally will not cause death.

    Darn, really had hoped to watch the little guy grow up :(.

    Sorry for your loss. But the best thing about this hobby is there will always be another one. I know he cant replace the first one but I hope you get another one soon.
