Finally got my skimmer

i was originally going to grab an aquc remora (due to size restriction on my 25gal), but went to the lfs to buy one and they had the cpr new skimmer. size-wise it's a perfect fit and what i like best is the MINIMAL size of equipment IN the tank. perfect fit.

just wanted to give my recommendation for anyone looking for a HOB that has minimal equipment size IN the tank. on the rim this take up about 5-1/2" left to right, and about 6-1/2" left to right outside of the tank.

I'm already getting good froth since this thing is really easy to tune and tweak. very impressed.

the only bad thing is it runs on two pumps, one for water movement and one for bubbles. each has its own plug so you lose two plugs. but that is a minor setback.
