Can't wait to see in action also...

That cloudiness will disappear in few days...

You may want to consider buying a few pounds of nice looking LR to add to that that you created.

    Good luck.

    Keep us posted.

If it's a new set-up you may want to refrain from doing a water change right now, until th cycle is complete, not recommended...

I dont know how the temp problems will be with the mh havent run it for more than 10 minutes yet. The tank is in the north room of my house which never really gets above 65 or so.

Congrats!! Water will clear in a couple days, I wouldn't do a water change for a long while, and play with your MH, they are hot mothers! My 2 250watt MH can easily raise the temp in my 55 a minimum 1 degree an hour, probably more. I run 2 110 watt fans, and still have to keep the temp at 72 minimum. It will help that the part of the room the tank is in is cool, but you will still have heat issues. Not to mention evaporation, mine evaporates more than a gallon a day! Sounds like you are going slow, keep it up, it will pay off big time in the long run!! Only 2 things happen fast in SW: bad things and savings account drains!!

Ok so i took your advice and played around with my Lighting, The light would run for about 15 minutes and than you hear a breaker pop and boom lights go out. The fans are not coming on at all, They are supposed to go on whenever the mh is on. I have sent an e-mail to jbj but i think im going to take the lid off and take that and the ballast to my lfs the guy said if i have any problems with parts to bring them to him and he will replace it and deal with jbj himself.

Ok I got my lighting situation figured out, LFS guy just gave me a new ballast and hood that works and he is dealing with JBJ. I have not touched my water no changing of it. The cloudiness is clearing up slowly. I have noticed a film all over my diy rock. I am going camping this weekend so hopefully it will be clear when i am home. Questions for when i get home. Should i get a damsel to cycle my tank with or should i just leave it be. Going fast is definately not my priority. Just wondering what the best way would be. I will definately have pictures posted on monday!!!!!!!

I have a great LFS, I hope you have as good a store I have. I heard damsels are aggressive. I opted for 3 chromis, one clown, one goby. (less aggressive combo) Check out my newbie thread here..... Lots of good advice.....
