    I wanted to have a longer strong photo period, so I prefer the artificial mode. I dislike the lack of custom capabilities with natural mode (for now anyway). Ecotech is working on improving it I've read.

    I know alot of people use natural mode to acclimate their corals to the new light. I haven't tried it though
