    I am jealous
Teach me the way Obi won, teach me..

One question, well thousands really but one for now. It appears as if the skimmer output and intake pump are in the same chamber. If so, how do you gaurantee that the water going to the next chamber has gone through the skimmer ? Or does it just get most.

Thank you for your kind words Double2mk. The flow that I have going through the sump/refug is really high, I doubt that the skimmer is cleaning all the water that is passing by. At the same time, I dont want the skimmer to clean all the water that passes by b/c then the refug wont be able to do its job and starve. Luna

I'm having a bit of trouble understanding the flow from one chamber to the next. Can you diagram it?

BTW - Sweeeet setup. Makes my 10g sump look lame.

I hope these pics can explain it better. This explanation is from left to right. The first chamber has an opening on the bottom, which exits into the skimmer section. The next wall has another opening 4" up from the floor, which leads to the refugium section. The next wall is 12" high and the water flows over it into a felt filter pad and some bio balls. The next wall has an opening on the floor, which flows to the last section where the return pump is. Luna

Yes I do, its the only way that I can target feed them without all the fish taking the food from them. Luna
