Yup, they do great work, very clean, straight lines and cheaper than others. Luna

Yeah I had mine done by them too, Got the design of melevsreef (modified it a bit) and took it to them and they did a good job and for a reasonable price too (I think $230).

P.S. I just checked on marinedepot and a basic PM refugium/sump costs $289, so $230 for something custom I think is a bargain.

Im confused again...just when i thought I had it figured...If you control the flow to the fuge to a small/lite/easy/gentle flow....are you not slowing everything down with this design?...man, I am just about ready to start putting mine together and I have the return and the fuge on oposite sides..with the sump in the middle?? ...geeezz I guess there are many ways to skin a cat...but I thought I had it skinned..until now?

Yes. When ever you have a sump/refugium combo design, like this one, the flow will be consistent. The only way that you can have two different flows, is if theres a wall separating the two sections. I dont have that wall in my design. Some people like having a slow flow or a faster flow going through the refugium. I think its a personal pref. Luna

    Hey Luna, One more question.

How many hours was you tank without the sump?

During the swap did you have to add anything to the tank like heater, pump or whatever ?

OK, so your old sump was running for awhile and had really established itself. After the swap, will you expect a cycle and how long before the new sump is as effective as the established one ?

OK, you caught me, that was three questions.
