Finally my fuge !!

    Finally after several months of waiting my husband and i (he works and i supervise)started to set up a sump/fuge. I am so happy i had to share. Here are a couple of pics.

    tonight we are suppose to finish hooking up everything and setting back the tank. I'll post pics of the final set up...:)

    You might have to put a sponge or something similiar in the bottom of your overflow to keep down the splashing noise. I see you eliminated the need for a siphon.

    Thanks for the tip diver. Its a semi modified durso stand pipe on a overflow box... Just hope it works.

    I put 2 shut off valves on mine sump/fuge so I can do any maintenance, and control the flow.

    yeah we did that too and we even put one in the return pipe for the water changes...
