    I finally made the time to put my new dry rock in and aquascape. I had originally planned on pegging but scrapped the idea while drilling my first rock...I'm too inpatient! Took a few hours but I ended up with a look I'm happy with. Before and after photos.

    Looks good with caves for the fish to swim through and plenty of spots to place coral.

    Not sure. For now no. I spend big bucks on buying the few pieces I have that were covered in coralline, which is why I opted for some dry Marco rocks. I have some coral coming in Tues. That I'll post pics of when settled in. The pics from my iPhone really don't do the tank justice. I know it'll be a while before the bare rock even resembles what I bought,but as the 3reef moto goes , "go slow let it grow"!! Thanks for the replies

    really like the look of the par30s you have,hadnt considered them on anything larger than nanos but looks like they work quite well.
    rock is looking good too btw lol

    Thank you Mate!! I've been lowering the lights about an inch a week. You can see the drop in my before and after pics. We'll see how they fair once I get some tougher SPS in there! ;)
