It's so corny but I'm so psyched one of my BW Ocellaris finally hosted with one of my BTA's. I have 2 pairs of Ocellaris & 3 nems in my tank. The larger pair host a hairy mushroom rock. I got an RBTA that had split recently and a pair of BW Ocellaris in hopes I could get some hosting going on. I had pictures up on the tank, no luck, waited, no luck, none of the clowns had any interest in it.

So, last weekend I saw my LFS had a really nice GBTA, they sold it to me for $10 which was a steal. I apprehensively added it to the tank and it luckily footed itself in a nice area. I woke up this morning and couldn't find one of my BW clowns and thought he had jumped. Then I looked closer and I see the little bugger sleeping in the GBTA, score!

IMO a clown hosting a nem is one of the coolest things about SW keeping, dare I say the mecca of SW keeping. Can't wait to check him out when I get home, I'll def post pics!

That is awesome. Mine hosted to my clams. i took them out of the tank for a week and threw them in my fuge. I figured they would no longer host the clams...I was wrong. I even "threw" the clowns into the nem. Maybe I'll just put them in the fuge for longer next time.

I was thinking.....at my lFS the clowns are almost garunteed to host because they put the clowns in 1 gallon display tank with nothing in the tank but the anenome. I wonder if placing a 1 gallon breeder in my DT with my clown and an anenome will improve tha chance for them to host?
