Finally posting the fish I got for christmas. well I got them on the 26th and they have been doing great!

Here is what I got: THREE LITTLE TANGS!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a yellow tang, a sail fin, and a powder brown.

    They all get along great.

I have had my eye on a yellow tang for forever, and my dad really liked the looks of the sail fin tang. Being that they are from the same family we thought we wouldn't be able to get both, and the yellow tang was the ultimate choice because he won't out grow the tank.

So when we went to the fish store our sales woman (She knows us pretty well and knows what we like) said she had a special treat for us. A yellow tang and a sailfin that had already been paired together from their supplier and got along great. She had actually gone to the supplier and picked these fish out for us. Then when someone else tried to buy them she told him they were sold, so when we got there we would be able to get them.

So we got them. They also had a very beautiful powder brown that was the same size as the other two tangs. So we got him too. I wasn't sure if we were doing the right thing adding three fish at once, but I also knew tangs have to be added together or the one you add later will get bullied.

(the "white spot" on his fin, is actually a smudge on the glass)

I have also added two more live rocks lately. One that was crawling with pods, and one that had some plants growing on it, and some sponges.

So anyway its been five days and they are all doing great. They have made quite a dent in the plants I had kept in my display.

The powder brown (unnamed so far), The yellow (I named him C-3PO), and the sailfin (most likely R2-D2, but not finalized)

I love the Sailfin.. congrats on the xmas fish.. thats awesome that your LFS hooked it up so the 2 got along.. I've got 3 tangs now.. I kind of cut myself off from adding anymore as they all sort of get a long now..

My GF bought me a fish.. i had to pick it out.. ended up with a Singularis.. awesome fish.. unfortunately it destroyed my polyps and shrooms in my tank.. looks like a barren waste land now.. so I believe he's going back.. I hate to do it but the LFS said he was pretty good with not picking at corals.. and they know what I have, unfortunately I want to keep some soft corals in the tank.. and not just this cool fish :] oh well.. My xmas present will most likely be some replacement shrooms and polyps lol.. congrats though... glad yours are working out better then mine

Well I hadn't thought about getting one, but since you mention it they are cool looking fish and I think my tangs would definitely appreciate him.

Yeah I will get one. Thanks for the tip and the compliments!!! ;D
