I was wondering if I could introduce a second nemo(him and her) to my tank to achieve a mated pair. My current nemo has been with me since 1999 and I feel for him/her. No sex for 8 yrs.........WOW......imagine that!!!!! LOL. How do you guys think this sould be done? Thanks, Luna

You could try to add another Clown though it is adviseable to add them at the same time.
Clowns are hermaphrodites, meaning they will change sex. Females will be the dominant one with the other being male. When the female dies, the next dominant one will change sex from male to female.

If you add a very small one to the tank it will be a better chance of the larger one becoming dominate then that one will become the female Thats how we pair them up..Is it wild or cultured ? We have hundreds of tank raised ones.. if interested ? and several different species of them..

I think a fish that you have had that long is going to have some serious territorial issues with a new fish. As long as the new one is significantly smaller, it might have a chance.

It is going to have a very rough time for a while. :-/
