Dropped my T5 in the tank... The one channel is fine but my second is totally burnt out:angry: total bummer. I will be using my par 38 bulb to keep things happy, until I find a new light or fix this one. Does anyone think I can replace the one channel and while I am at it, convert my who knows what brand of fixture to a six bulb unit?

I am guessing you will need to replace the ballast which should be doable. You may also need to replace the contacts which is again doable. I don't think expanding the fixture to 6 bulbs is possible since you would have to add reflectors for the new bulbs. If you want six bulbs I would suggest going the retrofit route and build your own canopy. Check out Hellolights.com for some awesome pricing on top of the line kits.
