ya doesnt look good. is it now close to any other corals that could sting it? your frogspawn perhaps. my toadstool is 3/4 towards the top and when open it is almost out the water! looks great, with the RSM 130 i dont think the lights are strong enough to cause a problem im not sure about the 250 does it have the pc "t5s" or real t5s? mine is positioned by the intake grate so it has some flow. as long as it isnt getting blown over it should open (yours) if its new it can take up to a month for them to "adjust"

nope it's not anywhere near a coral that could sting it, frogspawn is far away from it. However I see blue leg hermits on it now because they can climb on it easily now from where it's at. The 250 has real T5s, 234w total

is this the only leather in the tank? i doubt the hermits caused this, why would they attack just the tips? what did it look like when you bought it? now that the flesh is damaged it wouldnt move it closer to the lights. if it gets worse i would consider cutting the infected part off. is it in anyflow? they dont like tons but more then mushrooms. you may want to increase it, if there is very little.

yes it's the only leather in there. It didn't look like that when I bought it, it was nice and happy at the LFS for a good 3 weeks. I moved it more forward in the tank so it would get more flow (it used to be in an area of maybe 5% flow now it's more like 15-20%)

all ya can really do now is wait, see if it gets better. i wouldnt move it again unless it gets worse. i dont think i would have moved it in the first place. it looked fine to me especially considering it was a new addition. wish you the best. ur other corals look great i am sure it will recover.
