I finally got some new lighting and I am very excited!!!!:cheesy: I was just wondering if I got a deal or got - you know what. It's a Finnex T5 fixture. My tank is 72g. Fixture is 48", 6X54 watts. It's a refurbished light and I got it for half price.($225.00).The guy said they were discontinuing the manufacturer. Apparently not such good service. Good or bad, It's awesome! I'm reading tons of your posts on how long to leave the lights on and which ones. There are three seperate cords. How should the bulbs be divided? Blues together, one of each, etc. Thanks, in advance, for any help.

depends on the fixture, my tek's have 2 switches so the 2 bulbs that turn on with one switch are both the blue acintics, the 4 bulbs in the middle are just 3 white and 1 blue for a total of 6

the 8 bulb i'm getting from tangster i have no clue how i'm going to setup the bulbs in it yet till i get it

Thanks Iraf. Thats what I was wondering. I have 3 of each. Didn't know if I should have more of one or the other. I was also told I didn't need to use all 6 yet because I only have 1 BTA. What are your thoughts on that. If I just use 4 for now, I guess 2 and 2 would do it. But turn on the blues first and off last?
