Yeah im sorry about that it was my bad. I would change them out right away. Do you HAVE to? No, but the color is not as nice. let me take ia pic of my lights tomorrow... or check out my thread. I have stock bulbs on the right ati on the left (old ATI bulbs but you can still tell a big difference).

ATI or Giessman bulbs will give you alot more PAR and better color for your corals. Of course it going to cost you alot of dough to upgrade the bulbs but I would worry about acros with stock bulbs.

I had ati bulbs on my old setup. I ran stock bulbs (odyssea) for about 3 months then I changed them all to ati bulbs (8 bulbs total) and was blown away by the growth of my lps corals and softies.

Edit: its cool about the controller he did ask first... that was a great steal of a deal tho... just hate i missed it.

looks like a nice fixture. I would definitely spring the extra money for that if my tank wasn't only 13 inches wide :/ 6 bulbs would be nice. Icecap is pertty common and i think they are very good ballasts, so id bet the fixture is good quality

I'm still going finnex just because I don't think Icecap is still in business. I have read that the leds in the finnex are crazy bright. I have also read alot of good reviews on this finnex fixture. I might do a diy rapid led later on to go with this unit...
