fire coral?

    Looks like it could be a fire coral. The polyps would be the giveaway (look like hairs as mentioned earlier) I had one in my tank once and wouldn't do it again. The coral will encrust large areas of rock before growing branches and will kill any other coral in comes into contact with.

    it doesnt really look like any of those pictures it looks like a birdsnest but i guess only time will tell
