    Annick,
did you say 10 different shrimp?  I thought shrimps were mostly aggressive to different kinds of shrimp?  Not true?

Of course you are the lady with the Percs that don't know they are not supposed to host in the BTA!  HAHA![/quote]

Good morning BL. I have also heard that different cleaner shrimp may not get along but I never had a problem. I had 5 peppermints, 4 skunks and 2 fire shrimp and they were "taken out" by a purple pseudo. I also had a bi-color pseudo who may have been guilty of taking one or two out himself.

dtippets, what did you name them? :D

Annick, I have a splendid dottyback...that is like, 3 times the size of a purple pseudo! I can't pic that size fish eating shrimp! Like the sales guy at my LFS says,... it's not the size of the dog in the fight, but , the size of the fight in the dog!!!

Do you still have the fish? Any more shrimp?

well, i looked at some online sites and the fireshrimp is indeed as expensive as your LFS.
if you wanted to get a bunch of them, though, this would be your best value i bet:
    http://www.saltwaterfish.com/site_1...4&category_search=63&root_parent_id=4

because you get free shipping with an order of $80 or more, i think. so if you wanted to get 4+ then that's a better value than LFS--and this site offers 6-day guarantee and the LFS probably doesn't, right? anyway, i hear you about not wanting to spend a lot, but if you decided to go the group route, you can check it out....

Thanks bpayh! I prefer to support the LFS, esp with Livestock...I don't mind spending the money but I just did not want to spend it if my dotty back was gonna EAT them!!!!!! ;D

And no, the LFS offers no LS guarantee at all....Oh well....

Hi birdlady. I'm afraid the carpet is new. I dunno if it will survive. Well it so far ate - a piece of fish, a piece of squid, a piece of shrimp. Consider it's around a week old you can call it "PIGGY".
I had a carpet long ago. It was black and survived 4 years. Fed it shrimp meat and squid meat.

Your lfs guy is right :) Mine didn't swallow the shrimp whole, just smashed the hell out of it to get to its juicy innards.

I do not have the pseudos anymore....I think the anemones got them.....did me a favor as far as I'm concerned :)

I am slowly replacing the eaten shrimp but can only afford peppermints at the moment :)
