Hello All....tried to research online...couldnt find anything really that helped me....I have had my fire shrimp for about 3 weeks now...he has molted once, probably about 1 1/2 weeks ago...he now has a few black spots on the top of his body, but near his tail....he seems to be acting his normal..water per. are fine....just wanted to see if anyone is familiar with this, is it something I need to be concerned about, & will it go away?

I believe I have seen pictures of fire shrimp with a couple of black dots towards their tails. I don't think it is a reason to be concerned. Monitor it and let us know

Hello again...well, a few days ago I also made a post concerning the high volume of Copepods and Amphipods that my tank now has accumulated...this might be silly, and Im not sure if it is even related, but my Fireshrimp is constantly grooming its self (I know its a cleaner shrimp) but he almost does it obsessively! Looks like he is itching himself almost...worried either the black spots, or if the pods are tickling them! Any incite on this silly question, I just don't want to have my little guy stressed out!
