firefish hiding?

    can i ask what are the characteristics of a firefish? does it hide in the gravels? i know it does hide in between the liverocks sometimes

    mine "lives" under one of my live rocks. he comes out and swim around most the day but if hes not in sight hes usually in he little whole he dug in the sand next to the live rock.

    Mine only comes out when it thinks there is food or is hungry.

    They will hide. Mine swam with strong swimmers, So once established shouldnt be to shy. They eat brine and mysis, sometimes flakefood. Along with that Make sure you have a top of some sort or canopy to the tank. They like to jump!

    Mine is out hovering sometimes and in his hole under a rock sometimes. Definately comes out if he thinks food is around.

    they like to hide in rocks. also like to hide where nothing in the tank can get to them..................on the carpet
