Firefish really jumpers?

    I have two and haven't noticed them try to jump, I guess I've been really lucky. Although, I do have lids on my tank. :)

    I have had a jumper in the past but the Purp. firefish I have now doesn't seem to be a jumper. Atleast, I've never seen it jump. I do have an eggcrate covering the top and only have 2 peaceful fish in a 46 gal. I would suggest a lid if your going to get a fish known to be a "jumper" no matter what. Better safe than sorry IMO

    Cool thanks guys. I put up a mesh netting in case he gets crazy
