Firefish + Yasha Goby = Love ?

    Did it in an 18g goby only tank with a pistol for the Yasha. No problems at all.

    also don't forget anything that burrows will be constantly stirring up sand, that was the biggest reason i went against the goby/shimp pair.

    Yeah, I've been worrying about that too. But my big wrasse is into this new fad where he kicks up a ton of sand every day. Grrrr it ticks me off. The tank stays cloudy for awhile. Anyways, I figure they couldn't be any worse than my wrasse.

    Just make sure your rock work is stable and you will have no problems. The goby/shrimp pair will stir up far less than the wrasse.

    As for the rocks, stability is important. I set the rocks on the bottom glass then added sand. Had an open stand on the goby tank and I could see all the tunnels the shrimp/yasha pair had. It was awesome.
