I'm adding a pair of Firetail Gobies, which are now in my QT with PriziPro. If they are looking good in 2 weeks and eating, in the DT they go! (yes I know 2 weeks is not a recommended QT interval) maybe longer.

This is the exact fish, just a web photo, not actually my fish in my QT bucket.

If they're not showing any signs of illness and are eating fine and not hiding all day long, then weeks is fine. Do you have a rock or something they can couch into while in the QT? They like to be in closed spaces for protection, but should be bouncing out all the time when everything's calm. Best of luck, they look nice in the pic.

    edit...
    Those are mated correct?

    That's good....

I tried to edit but I think I was late.

I'm assuming those 2 are mated right?

NO telling about the mating. They like to pair up though, that's why I got 2.
They will definitely hang out together.
When they get in my DT, they're going to hide alot at first.

From what I have heard they actually do best in trios. But very cool fish Todd. Firefish will always be one of my favorite fish.

    Thanks Norg.

I'm only 12 minutes away, and the offer to check out my DT still stands. Bring a few frags you'd like to trade also maybe?

usually two doesn't work but I have 2 purple firsfish for about 4 months and they seem ok. In a 60 inch tank though

Right now, they're in my makeshift QT-a 5 gallon bucket in close quarters.

I think they'll be fine in my 125.
