The stamatello snail looks like a small dirty whitehead(not to be gross) and at the front you can see little tenticles, like a snail. I see on the glass in the morning a little path these guys go during the night.
I'm just glad the worms are a brissleworm - I didn't want a problem being so new. Seems each week I learn something new. I don't worry about them now. I was afraid I'd have to pull everything out and treat the LR.
Can anyone tell me what is a good range for Phosphate? I tested my tank tonight and the only thing in question was that? I had a light pale green/but a little darker than 0, yet not 0.25.
    My CA - 14 drops , NH/NH - yellow, Phosphate - as listed above, Nitrate - 10, KH - 11 drops, Nitrite - 0. Which I'm told is all godd.

Phosphate of 0.25 is too high. YOu want somethign very close to 0.05 ppm-mg/l with 0.1 ppm-mg/l as an upper limit.

If you have a RO water system I would check the water that comes out of it for phosphate. I bet you will be within the range but check it anyway to be sure.

Let us know what you find out.

I have britleworms in my tank and consider them OK but 2 of them are getting really big. At least 1cm, 10 mm across and a foot long. Do you think they should be removed? They are in the 130ltr tank......
