Ty . This being my first reef tank . I'm thinking next payday I might add some blue mushrooms stay with a couple real hardy corals to start with then further down the line I'll add a whip of some sort . And just let them run wild .

Very nice choice, give them good light and moderate flow and they should grow and spread quickly.

I sure do hope so . I'd like to have good success with this nano . I'll feel more comfortable about it when I move to the par38 led

So I'm dosing with kent's two part nano reef

Outside of this on a daily basis is there anything else I can to properly care for my polyps specifically . As I've not yet added any other coral . I think my lighting is good at the moment because my polyps open right up and look great . I'm doing and plan to maintain weekly water changes of 10% and I keep mymfeedings low 2-3 days apart .

If you're planning to add sps in the future, keep testing and once balance is breach d at the desired levels, coraline will be the main consumer of ca, alk and mg... until u add the spa that is. Balance is the key. But be very careful dosing in a nano reef .. because of very little water volume swings are likely if u dose all at once. Split the dose in 2 or 3 over a few days time.

Very nice polips, by the way. Blue, red and purple mushrooms are an excellent choice for what is next and they are very beautiful and colorful for sure.

Ok so a couple of my polyps look as though they are pulled away from th live rock barely attacked ready to float away . I believe this is the result of a emerald crab being crabbie . Could I be wrong or could something else cause them to deattach from the rock in such a sort time .
