First coral very excited! Pics!

i just got my first corals just a zoa frag but still very exciting!! i picked them up at my lfs for 10 dollars and there are prolly 20 to 30 heads!! maybe more lol. they opened up about 1-2 hours after acclimation (i was very excited bout that lol) but anyways enjoy!!

Nice, I see one problem though. A picaso trigger... I had one of those guys and had to get rid of him, vicious little fish. Fun to watch not for reef though (just my opinion)

and it is a 55g with an fluval fx5 filter(carbon biomax and something else i dont remeber lol) a seaclone skimmer i believe( got in trade has no writing on it lol) a 300w titanium heater, about 60lbs of live rock, 50 lbs of black sand and 20 lbs of live refuge sand, coralife retrofit light with 2 actinic 65w and 2 10000k 65w. the tank is in what was my closet lol i keep all my stuff on shelf above tank and the retrofit lighting is attached to bar for hangers .

 

yes i know i was worried becausei love them so much but i like reef more lol thats why my first coral was only 10 zoas lol and he has not messed with it the slightest bit and we are on day 3 so we will see. thanks for the comment

 

Cool looking frag. Isn't the light pretty far above the tank though? Or is it just the angle the pic was taken?

 

the light is about 6 inches from top. that maybe to far or maybe pic what you think
