    Hi
    I have just made my first coral purchase,;D and I want to place them in the right spot in the tank. They are purple zoo's . What do they like the best as far as flow and light??? Right now they are acclmating so in about a hour they are going in the tank.
    All tips and advice are deeply appreciated :thumb_up:

    Zoo's like medium flow and medium light. Given your current setup, you should be able to place them anywhere.

    I,m a little anxious about caring for these things .
    From what I understand zoos are fairly hardy

    Nice start! I've also picked up zoas at the beginning! They are very hardy! Try not to touch them:

    Ditto --- wear gloves and esp. eye protection when working with.

    On a more serious note!

    Ditto, Ditto: I have a friend, he is a member of 3Reef and JARC and he will tell you all about why you need to be careful, it cost him a couple of really serious days of pain and a trip to the emergency room once because he wasn't using proper precaution. So as omard said "wear gloves and esp. eye protection when working with"

    Edit: Oh and by the way Trying It Aagain, love your avatar! took me a minute to realize what it was from!

    The Zoanthus opened and its yellowish in the middle with a redish outer ring.
    I was told it was purple zoas, just want to be sure.
