    Hey guys,

Today I got my first corals. I got a small hammer and a small toadstool. I placed both on top of my rock so they get good light and flow.

Does any one have tips on taking care of them? Do I have to feed them? Should they be located on rock or should I move them to the bottom?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers
    ;D

Nice score! We would need to know more about your lighting scenario before we go much further.

Frogspawn are moderate light corals and require moderate flow, most of the ones I've seen have been placed lower in te tank.

Hammers like indirect flow but as for lighting idk

I have a HETO 120cm LED light which has 2 rows of White LEDs and 1 row Blue LED. Total 37W. I have a 55g tank.

Is that lighting going to be enough?

My hammer and toadstool are both in direct flow sitting above my rock work (I will post pics as soon as my phone is charged). Should I move the hammer to the bottom going of Moby Ducks opinion?

What are good corals that like being high up? What about a big bubble coral or something like that?

    Thanks alot :)

If needed I can put another light on which has 1 x T5 white light.

I can't be for sure about led seeing as how I've never used them but I'm guessing they will be fine. Some higher light corals are things like acros

    I can't see pics x(

The links are opening up for me as well. Nice adds! I definitely want to get a toadstool leather soon. Zoas are very versatile and should do well near the middle of the tank with your lighting, as well as Kenya Trees and Xenia. Be careful though, because the last 2 spread like weeds, which could be a good or a bad thing for you ;D HTH
