What do you guys think about feeding them though? Is this necessary?

Im really liking the thought of a few zoas, they seem to be a pretty common choice for most peoples reef aquariums. I will definately add a few to the mix.

Sorry about not being able to see the pictures :(. Thanks for all the advice though :).

People have different advice on feeding, I don't feed and they seem to be happy

Im sort of thinking the same thing. I might get some marine snow or something like that and do an occaisonal feed if they seem to be wilting.

What are the signs that your corals arent doing as well? Do they retract, lose colour, shrivel up? All that kind of stuff? And if they arent doing well, what should I be changing? Definately would be checking my water parameters, but is doing water changes enough to save coral?

The Marine Snow sounds like a good idea, although it isn't necessary.

It could be one or more of those that you listed, as well as melting away. You should let us know what your params are when you check them. You could try more/less flow/lighting and see if they react better. What salt brand are you using? Regular water changes usually take care of Mg, Ca, and Alk, but we won't know what your levels are at until you test them so... yeah :p

At the moment my params are:
    Ammonia: 0
    Nitrate: 0
    Nitrite: 0
    pH: 8.2
    Phosphate: 0.25

I dont have any testers yet for Ca, Alk and Mg.

I use Red Sea Coral Pro salt, which says that it adds all of these things?

How would I determine if they react better? I dont know if they are even reacting good :p. But their tentacles have come out on the toadstool and the hammer seems to be waving nice in the flow.

Your params are good. If you're using Coral Pro, then you should be set. IMO your corals sound fine.

Thanks mate. Im definately keen to get some zoas going and then my aim is to get a few torches and a big bubble coral for "fingers crossed" my clowns to house.

Do you know the common anemones and corals clowns like to house?

I have two ocellaris clowns in tank already, as well as two small reef chromis. I love the clowns they are really active and have great personalities and thankfully havent gotten agressive towards each other yet.

Sorry. I just noticed the clowns in your sig. It's not always guaranteed that an anemone will host a clown. The only ones I can think of right now are Carpet Anemones (They get enormous and can catch and kill fish), Ritteri Anemones, and Saddle Anemones.

If you want the Clowns to stay active then you may not want to get them a host Anemone, because they tend to stay really close to the Anemone at all times.
