So today I picked up my first fish and coral from my LFS today. I got a small 1.25" Ocellaris Clown and a Frogspawn with 4 branches. I paid $40 for the frogspawn...does that sound reasonable? I looked online and they are around $50-60 for a "small." They're in my 20g nano...one bit of concern thought, the clown has some very small black "dots" on him. The guy at the LFS said it was no concern, but what do you guys/gals think? Hopefully you can make them out in the picture...all I have is my phone camera right now...

    What do you think?

Thanks so much for the help too!

pretty decent price imo. i wouldnt worry to much about the clown. does he host anything? if he as hosting anything at the store(zoas, palys, frogspawn, torch, or anything else) those could be small stings from that. my 2 clowns have this from hosting my torch. if he is acting normal and eating i wouldnt worry about it

Great looking!! Are you hoping the clown hosts the frogspawn?

Black dot on the clown is absolutely no concern. It's even better than spotless clown. It's UNIQUE.

Everything seems to be going great....everyone looks happy. Yesterday I had a friend give me some frags....a reverse frogspawn, some nucular green zoes, raging purple zoes, a small acro, and a pipe organ too. Off and running and everyone looks good...yipee!

Thank you!!! I also just picked up a "Trumpet Coral" with about 15 or more "Trumpets) for $40...does that seem like a decent price? I'll get pics soon!
