cool fish and a great choice IMO

The 1st fish in a tank can sometimes take a while to eat, depending on what your feeding
I have often found frozen foods like Mysis or even brine shrimp will encourage fish that dont recognise foods in their new surroundings

subsequent fish have a much easier time as they pick up on the activity of the fish already present and see their reactions to pellets or flakes etc and learn quickly they are edible items

I just got my first fish about 5 days ago also... Wondered what the thoughts were on proper waiting time to put in fish #2 (assuming all the tests come out reasonable of course) - and in my case it would be #2 and 3, since I'm getting a pair of clowns.

Tank is 55 gallon, FOWLR - 50lbs rock, 2 inch Sand bed. Thanks,

and nice fish! I know how you're feeling! My firefish is rambunctious and always exploring :) luckily I got one that looooves mysis. Good luck!

congrats on the new clown. good looking little fella. something to make him more comfortable , IMO , is to get him a mate. good luck in the rest of your additions.

2 fins up ...way to go! Might I suggest a meal of live brine also ...when all else fails... live brine, IME. the LFSs sell it usually by the cup ....a dollar or 2. Its a weekly treat for my fish.
