This is my first attempt at a marine aquarium, and after months of research, and setting up I have finally got a couple of clowns.

The tank is a 55G, I have 77lb of live rock, 110lbs of live sand. I have a 20G sump/refugium. I have 4" DSB and live rock in the refugium.

Chamber one has the skimmer, chamber 2 has the refugium, chamber 3 has the pump to the chiller and the Phosphate reactor (has silicate in it at the moment as I am waiting for the phosphate media), chamber four has the return water from the chiller and the return pump to the tank.

When I built the sump I decided to go against the norm, and have the flow from the bottom of the tank rather then the top. I figured this way all the water would be pushed under the gap while the bubbles would raise to the top. It seems to have worked as I have no bubbles in any of the the other 3 chambers.

I have an Eshopps 300 overflow and two Resun wavemakers.

    Things still to get:

    AquaticLife T5 (This week)
    A.T.O
    Hydor Koralia evolution 1050 x 2
    Reefkeeper Lite

My aim is for 5-6 fish, and a heap of corals and anemones
