So I upgraded from my 50 gallon to a 90 gallon main display. My intention is to swap everything to the 90 from the 50 and then convert the 50 gallon into a fuge/sump. So here goes my build thread.

    Here is the 90g

It's great to see a fellow 90 galloner! I did 29->90 upgrade. You gonna love the space it has.
Check out the 90 thread as well.

I agree, I just have it on my current tank and until I get something better I'm gonna just leave it run on the 90.

Anyways made a Home Depot run today. Got most the plumbing supplies. Didnt have precise measurements to get my divider cut though.

All the pvc parts are for the input side. The large round part is a "union" which will give me the ability to easily separate the overflow unit from the rest of my plumbing without having to cut anything. Gray 90 angles are for the return side which will be using the flex hose.

New bedding for the 90 gallon. (Long pieces go down the front and back, small sections fill the space in between the ends and the crossbar down the center.)

Some of the plumbing coming off the overflow. Valve is for shutting off the water to the fuge in case you ever want to remove the overflow unit. Typically you couldnt take it apart since PVC is cemented together but that is what that big unit below the valve is for. It's call a union and it unscrews allowing you to separate the pipe. All pipe and fittings on the siphon side are 1 inch.
