This is my first attempt at scaping my new 40 breeder. This will hopefully be an SPS donimated tank. I like this scape a lot. What do you all think? Don't worry everything will be welded together. Sorry pics are kind of crappy.

    Must admit
I do like the structure on the right most
it looks really natural and has some great perches for placement of SPS

If the one on the left could have a slightly large piece at the base, that would give you another layer for coral on that side also ( maybe a viewing angle, but it looks like 2 or more rocks of similar size stacked on top of each other, thus only the top one is a easy to use coral location)

The 40b is one of my favorite tanks. Good choice, in my opinion.

I do like the "open island effect."

I do like the lace rock (lots of flat surfaces for placement of corals).

I am not necessarily a fan of permanently bonding my rocks together. I sometimes find that I need to change something, which would be impossible if everything were "immobile."

Thanks, all opinions have been noted. I am going to keep the island on the right as is and just focus on the left island. The more I look at the left side I really want to change it up. So I will go through my rock and see what I can come up with.

    Thanks.

Added a few peices to the right and redid the left side. The left side now has a two teared affect and more coral placement options. I also added a peice in the middlr (which I may or may not take out). Any opinions? Suggestions?
