first time leather, help.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    I believe that is a Figi Yellow. If so more sensitive than other toadstools I have had.

    Strong current and intense lighting has worked for me it the past. Figi yellows just seem to have different requirements than other Sacrophyton. A turkey baster to blow of any detritus or brown areas sometimes helps.

    yes, it's a Fiji Yellow, I'll try the turkey baster and see if anything comes off. I had it up top where it had good flow and lighting but moved it down in the sand, I thought maybe it wasn't used to the lights?

    Brown spots are OFF!!!! Thank you so much Corailline! I used the turkey baster and blew it all off! I feel alot better about it now. =)

    Excellent!

    As Vinny and others posted it's also a coral that hates to be moved or touched, it make take weeks for it re-open.

    My favorite leather.

    Okay, no more touching and moving. I will be patient. I just wish that wasnt so hard!
