currently have one yellowed tail blue damsel and 2 false percula in a 37 gallon tank...which i am planning on moving to the 75 gallon slowly in over the next few weeks...so my question is what fish would be good to put in the tank now...looking for 2-3 to start out with..

was looking at jewel damsel and 4 striped...
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

    future fish that getting:
    yellow tang

i would go with a goby or a sixline wrasse but i would add the sixline liast since they get territorial.

You might wanna look a little closer at that hippo tang. Usually don't fare well in a tank that size. Just my opinion

+1 and sorry but my 90 is too small for a hippo tang. If you have to get a tang look at the yellow and thats on the small side for that guy. You like damsels and if you want to have a damsel tank thats great but they are far too aggressive to comfortably put in a community tank for me. I would recommend bringing the damsel back to the LFS.

i dont like damsels but that is what we bought as a starter fish...since they are so hardy...so that is why i have the yellow tailed blue damsel...
so...in the 75 gallon what should i buy?????
from what i have read the small blue hippo minmum tank size is 50 gallon...so i would think my 75 would be ok...as far as the yellow tang i am pushing the limit as far as size...so im up for suggestions..please...im planning buying a fish or 2 on the next few days...
    thanks

My personal favorite fish are the lionfish, but since you have smal damsels doesnt look too good for that. If you gor rid of the damsels and clowns it could work but you might not want to do that which is understandable. there are many different kinds of lionfish from the small fu manchu to the large pterois volitan which are pretty hardy. ( my personal favorite is the radiatta). Im sure you will find the right fish for you, just giving you ideas. look on Aquarium Fish: Tropical Freshwater Fish and Saltwater Fish for Home Aquariums for more fish ideas. then ask you lfs if they can order it for you.
