I don't think you will have that problem with tangs, if you are willing to give it to a fish store pro bono. but not every area is the same.

but that problem is ridiculously frequent in freshwater with fish like pacu.

rectangle sized tanks are always good for tangs, especially 100 for a yellow tang

+1, especially if it's something like a purple tang or sohal. UPS and FedEx stopped shipments from the Red Sea area because of the incident with bombs coming in from Yemen, so you'll have no problem giving one away unless the situation in the region changes dramatically.

well some of them are old school IMO in that chart..

for example the regal tang can do just fine in a 125... ( some people keep them in a 75 with no problem)..
purple tangs can be kept in a 75....
salifin or any zebrazoma tang ( at exception of the desjardini) can be kept in 150.. and 125 IME..

i think any tang really can be kept in a 180. at exeption of maybe 2 or 3.. like the Naso tang and the unicorn tang.

you will have to add them at the same time though.
if i am correct they are the same genus, so they can get really aggressive towards each other.

i have a lieutenant tang, a salifin and a yellow in my 150G tank and they are as happy as can be. but i added the yellow and the salifin almost at the same time.
