Fish are soooo cool

So I after nearly 4 months I added my first fish. The smallest most orange false perc. I'd ever seen. He decided to hang out in the back corner of my tank in the one place that's impossible to see. I waited tested my water and then got a orange striped prawn goby. He joined the clown the back impossible to see corner. SO I rearranged my rock, did a water changed and added another slightly bigger clown and a pistol shrimp. Immediately the goby joined the shrimp making a burrow on the other side of the tank. Instantaneously, the two clowns grouped up and started exploring the tank together.

Fish are so cool, and a metaphor for life. It's a big scary fish tank we live in, but much more fun with the right friends.

 

WOW 4 months and getting the first fishes and inverts, very exciting, congrats. It must be very enjoyable to have something to observe of interest now.

I'm going on 8 months so far (as of Sept 4), lifeless except for my cuc and and the usual bacteria. lol.
