ah I was afraid of that.. Thanks for the reply. Is there a formula you use for that? The lfs says 1 inch of fish per 5gal of water. so 10inches of fish in a 55gal....Sound right?

I don't agree with the inches / gallons policy. It depends on the quality of your skimmer, amount of live rock, maintenance schedule, etc. Although it sounds like in your sig you have enough fish as is. Seaclone is not a very good skimmer.

I have a 55g also. I have only six fish. Three blue/green chromis, Canary wrasse, Coral bueaty angel, and Fire goby. I think that is all the fish I will have. I think...

The seaclone is not the best I agree, but I have been running mine just fine... If you run it correctly and maintain it it does a good job. I however do want to upgrade my skimmer.

as for the tank... I would say not to add anymore. Just cause foxface fish alone get pretty large, my Magnificent foxface is almost 7 inches and probably can grow another 2 in the next year or so.

I have 6 fish in my 75. I am on the lookout for one more, that I'd say I'm at capacity then. I wouldn't do anymore in a 55.

Its possible, If any I would say the goby. Everyones gotta remember everyones tank limits are different. one 55g will always have a different stocking limit then another 55g :p

55 here has 1 very small yellow tang 2 green chromis and 1 blue damsel and 1 black molly. no fish here over 2 1/2 inches. when the tang reaches 3 inches it is gone back to trade for another. has a corallife 125 and 80 lbs live rock and 10% wc every other week. tank has been up a year now according to the owner. I am just a babysitter.
