110 lb Fiji live rock. Not too many hitchhikers, because the rock was uncured when I bought it, and I scrubbed the heck out of it. So there were no fireworms, crabs, etc (as far as I could tell). The only crabs I have are one emerald crab, some blue leg hermits and some white reef crabs.

Lights on for 12 h per day (for corals), heat varies from 79F at night to 82F during day.

Oh, and the set-up is about 3 months old.

i always feed my fish on the rigt side of my tank due to the water flow. because of this, they like to hang out there whenever i am in the room.

you're problem probably isnt this simple, but just my experience.

Maybe....I'll try feeding on the left side for the next few days and see if that makes a difference.

Good idea madlarkin! I had four fish doing the same thing, found an uber crab, size of half dollar, chowin down on snails. Now that it's out, they're fine, but clownfish likes to be wherever the sailfin tang is, usually a large cave.

Just an update....I redirected the flow of my powerheads and started feeding on the other side of the tank - now the fish swim everywhere. I think it was the current in the end. So problem solved, and thanks to those who replied.
