So here is the deal, I am low on allowance and therefore need to make a decision which I can't...:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:
    1. I could either spend it on a Kole and have some left over for inverts
    2. Spend all my saved money on a T5HO lighting system and maybe a cheap frag and wait a month for the Tang.
I was leaning towards the fish, since my birthday (yay;D) is coming up and go into corals later.
    :thinking2
    What do you all think...

i figure not much sense in blowin the budget for lesser lights, when down the road he might have to upgrade to be able to keep a more varied selection of coral. no sense payin twice for that.

Ummm...no idea about how lights relate to mills, but it would be a T5HO 48" Twin Bulb (I know quad is better) Atnic + Day Lights, they are not 200$ but my lfs runs them on his tanks at home and on his frag tanks and loves them.
So far just a jawfish, some chromis, a skunk clown, snails ,shrimp, deco, crab 30 or 40 pds of LR.

on another note about the kole. i guess first i really wouldnt put one in a 55. and second, i dont think theres enough LR in your tank to keep him happy. saying that if the pic on your profile is the amount of LR you have. mine is constantly grazing all day on my LR. arent i just full of negative thoughts? :) what other fish do you have pan?
