Well I know its not a reef fish, but I felt like just venting..

My African Cichlid "Pancho" died tonight.. He was fighting an infection he got on his head while chasing feeder fish..

I had the guy for 5 1/2 years and he made the move with me from Texas to Alabama and survived many christmas breaks in between.. Good Fish..

    Thanks...

Sorry to hear it. Cichlids are cool fish, and any loss is tough.

thanks guys.. I would have liked to utilize the tank for something salty (mantis) but I know copper has been used, so as of now, its just going to be an empty tank..

Sorry about the loss. That is a long time to have a fish (at least for me) and it was beautiful.

I'm sorry, Bama. 5-1/2 years is a long time. You must have taken good care of him. :(
