    I'm running a couple of tanks, a 60 gallon which I acquired from a friend and a 75 gallon which I started with extra crushed coral I got with the 60 gal. Approximately 40 lbs. live rock with a decent amount of color throughout now reside in the 60. I hope to start introducing some creatures soon to this tank.
    The 75 gal. will one day be a full on reef tank, but right now it's just cycling with the aforementioned crushed coral, some live rock, and a few nacarious (I hope thats spelled right) snails to let me know everything is somewhat okay in there. I'm sure as this endeavor continues I will have countless questions and hopefully fewer dilemmas with which I will need help and information. I look forward to meeting new people who share this passion and enjoy the hobby.

    Welcome to 3reef. It is important that you monitor the cycle of your tank. Test for Ammonia and Nitrites. once they are zero you can start to add snails and fish.
