i would like some info on feeding marine fish in a reef aquarium. my tank is going through cycling stages and i need to keep organics low.
my community consist of 6 chromis 5 anthias and one large regal approx 5 inches big.
the tang does not eat any algae of the rocks probbably cos he waits for me to feed.
i feed twice a day at present
    approx2 cubes of frozen grub

You have to make sure not to overfeed or you water quality will suffer. What's the size of your tank? It sounds like you have too many fish for a reef and two frozen cubes of food is A LOT, especially brine cubes. What I do is feed a couple and if the fish finishes it in 1-2 minutes, I add a bit more and that's it. I never toss frozen cubes in there because they add too much food at once, so I cut 1/4 of the cube and feed that, if they are still hungry and they finish it, I feed a little bit of zoo. Remember, that's just me, you have to know exactly how much your fish will consume in a given time, you have quite a bit of fish there, so 1/4 of a cube maybe be a bit too little, try 1/2 cube, then squirt a tad of zooplankton. Try zoo, it's great!

I feed every other day. I use 2 cubes for my 265 gallon tank with about 20-25 fish. Becareful not to feed to much or you will start to have nitrate problems and algae problems. Fish can go 5 days without eating before they will start to starve. I have gone 2-3 before feeding sometimes. Doesnt hurt them a bit.

i agree with rickzter...that seems like way to many fish to have during the cycle period...anthias are very tricky when it comes to feeding...erm but try to feed them small ammounts so there is no left over food
