We use ghost shrimp and grass shrimp Steve...sometime pile worms...this one was caught on the ghost shrimp.
We just got two more last night both of them 65 lbs....but I didn't catch them : (
Mine took about 50 minutes to land..the other two were over an hour...once they lay down, boy, its tough to get'em to move....but new laws on the Sacramento river..no less than 48 inches and no larger than 72 inches. : ( But its for the preservation of breeders...so I sigh and comply.. : ( Hard to fight a fish for 90 min. and then have to cut it loose because its too big...but such is the case.
Way ahead of ya pack, on the grill'n...had a couple nice steaks last night...just some sea salt and lemon pepper...wow! ...and some wild rice and Wasabe : )
Thanx for the comments....I should be around your way during fishing season mission...maybe a little drifting? have not stopped your way on my last two trips due to that freak'n SNOW....but we will be see'n soon I'm sure. : )
    Later folks.

Nice feesh, up here in Orygun they have to be at least 42" and max 60" one per day and 5 per year. Used to be three a day from 36" to 72".

Whats the limit down there? Also you must get some stripers I would guess? Salmon, steelhead?

I would love to hear about your fishing adventures. We are blessed to have have as many fish to chase as we do on the west coast. My favorite is TUNA.

You go out on any long range boats in Cali? You are very lucky to have sailfish, marlin, dodo, yellowtail, ect ect ect. We mostly get albacore up here.

OK I will shut up now.
