So I live in South Florida and went to the beach to catch a few new tenents for my tank. I got a fish about 5" long looks like a streached version of a red grouper with a lighter colored patter around the head. Also there are several rows of "hairs" above the eyes tthat make it look like EYEBROWS. Grew up fishing and diving here my whole life but never paid attention to this one before. I will post a pic as soon as I get my cable to down load the picks of it. For now it Stays in the Isolation tank
    Any Ideas would be appreciated.

Good thought, but they're from the indo-pacific region. That's my original guess too.. maybe a hawkfish? What's his behaviour like?

Yea, thats a good guess. It may be another blenny as well as they all have the "eyebrows".

it looks like some type of grouper maybe; or possibly a type of rock fish (scorpion fish). Does it have spines on the dorsal area? (steer clear just in case)
