How many fish can I have???

I have a 75gal tank with a small reef on the back part.
I just get 6 cromies, for a total 12 fish. All are small 3.5" or under.

I'd say you are over doing it already.

I'd also say for the amount of fish and the amount of LR you might run into a nitrate problem.

agreed. granted all the fish are small and don't need a lot of swimming space (with the exception of the tang), you're probably pushing the limits there. you may want to upgrade to a more efficient skimmer and just keep tabs on the tank via testing....just my 0.02. :)

It's always tough to put on the brakes when it comes to stocking. I constantly see new fish I would love to have, but realize I would be endangering the well balanced community I seem to have now. We also have to remember, not all fish are equal. A 1/2" of angel or tang requires more room than a 1/2" of damsel. :-/
