I get home from work look into one tank and see that my flame angel has been mauled and it must have happened while the lights were on! I think that he will be ok although he looked rough seeing as he is missing tisue on fins and what not he was also very bleached and trying to hide.
    any ideas?
only thing I could think of was hermit crab?

OK, you need to be a bit more specific...what exactly is an atlantic jewel? I cannot find references other that geographic real estate ads with that search.

Is it the jewel damselfish? If so, I would say very likely the culprit. Is it some other kind of fish? LMK... :)
