    My lfs has special orders on saltwater fish and i have to carry them home which is 10-15 minute walk(1/2 mile) would a yellow tang or other fish be able to withstand that walk and if not what could i bring to pack them in to bring them home it is around 45 degrees feranheight.

    They will be fine. If your really concerned put the bags in a small cooler.

    Either small cooler or big jacket pockets you could stick the bags in.

    Agreed with the posts above; I wouldn't be worried at all. Just make sure to float the bags for 15 min. to get the temp the same as your reef in your acclimation process.
