Fish prefer one side of my tank over the other?

Ok, so I have noticed that my fish like the left side of my tank over the right. But the water flow is about the same. The last few times I have cleaned, sediment has gotten stirred up in the water and the flow looks exactly the same. Any ideas?

30gal starting-reef-tank
Water is good (check every three days, as well as 5 gallon water change a week)
Flow is about even

 

do you mostly feed there? could be because of that if you did.

 

maybe they like the rock work better over there. change the aquascape if its bugging you

 

I always have this problem as well and it was because thats the side i fed the tank on, once i started to mix it up, they moved around alot more!

I will try feeding on the other side. I understand that my clownfish doesn't move around much, cause he loves his anemone, but the other fish should be swimming around!

 

See they eat on one side, and use the other as their bathroom. LOL
