To move the anemone just blow the powerhead at him untill he moves it should take 3 min or you can just up the flow and he should move within the day. he will keep moving on you as you add rock change the flow and so on. they will try to find the best spot for food and flow even if it is under a rock.
    hope this helps good luck.

What the heck is the problem, I bought a nice sizegreen LTA within 24 hour the pink was up around his neck and all suctions visible. The reef shop took it back gave me another and the same thing happened but in 48 hrs it had disovled in a pile of mush. Quick scabble to do the water change. When I brought the first LTA back I brought a water sample and everything was sqare on (my sea anemene is doing wonderful) PLEASE HELP!!!!

I'm sorry to hear that. :(

I'm not sure what type of anemone you're referring to when you say sea anemone. Do you have a picture? If it's a condylactus, they're very aggressive and can threaten other animals.

Just a few questions so hopefully we can help you. :)

How long has your tank been running?
Do you know what your water parameters are: salinity, KH or GH, alkalinity, magnesium, and calcium. Is it possible you have ammonia or nitrites in the water?
    How are your fish doing?
What type of lights do you have?
How did you acclimate the LTAs?
    Were you feeding it (them)?
Do you have sand deep enough for an LTA?

If you can give a little more information maybe we can help figure out what's going on.

Yes I found out it was a con and I check my water paramiters regualy and to double check I take a sample weekly to the reef shop. Everything is sqare on. I have added a protien skimmer as well. my kingsize sebae is doing great and my pared perc's have move right in. I never lost any fish. I have actinic sun and blue lights that are on timers to similate day and night. Now I only have my perc's and my sebae and will concentrate on breeding them since they have pared off. by the way since there are no pretators in the tank--is it pasible to leave the babies in the main tank to raise if it comes to that point. It a 25 gal

beware--- woke up this morning and my male clown was missing, looked everywhere. Pulled all the rocks Gone. when my sebae opened up he spit out a pile of bones. Found out that this is rare but it does happen. just heart sick. the reef shop is going to take my female and give me a already pared clowns for half the price. I am so glad I'm in tight with the dealer.

you might want to do away with the anemone. I dont think you have enough light to sustain one. Plus it seems like it is a big one for a 25g tank. Clowns do not need anemone to host..........they can host many things such as anthelia, star polyps, mushrooms etc. I have a feeling that it might have ate your male because it was just plain hungry.

as far as babies, no you will want to remove them as soon as they are hatched. Mom/dad will find them a tasty little treat for them. If you want to breed them place a clay flowerpot in the tank and they will host that and lay eggs there. Also look up what needs to be done to keep the babies. They are an awful lot of work. Requires rotifers, etc. Good luck

    Sorry for your losses

    Back to your title, ratio-

IMHEO- 2.5 fish, you did say 25 gallon, right?
1 fish per 10 gallons, and the ecosystems will be able to compensate much better.

    My 125 has 10 fish.

And don't ream me about the Fish inch per gallon ratio, I agree with it, and I'm still under that ratio too.

Again, sorry for your losses, things will get better soon, just don't get too many fish!

Please!!! don't tell me it's the lighting. 20 years ago I had a established reef complete with hard and soft corals. at that time thing weren't so high tech, I had a eternal biolife filtration the same actiic lighting and did not have a protien skimmer. I did not loose a thing--in fact my sebae at that time grew so much I had to frag it twice. Now I have much better filtation, flow and a skimmer and water chemisty remains stable. So all I can say is you don't have to go all out and go high tech to substain a enemene
